About Us

The History of North Willow Farms

From the very beginning, North Willow Farms was designed with innovation and community in mind. When the neighborhood was first developed, the vision was clear: create a place that felt open, connected, and unlike the typical suburban layout of its time.

Instead of simply lining homes up along streets, many of the 390 houses were built to face landscaped courts. This thoughtful design brought beauty and breathing room to everyday life, offering residents a sense of spaciousness surrounded by green views rather than just neighboring facades.

Walking and biking trails were also woven into the plan from the start, linking homes to one another and leading neighbors straight to the social heart of the community—the North Willow Club.

North Willow Farms Today

That original vision continues to thrive. North Willow Farms is a neighborhood where tree-shaded streets, well-kept common spaces, and active gathering spots bring people together. Amenities include:

- A sparkling pool, the go-to spot for hot summer days and lazy afternoons.
- Tennis and pickleball courts, perfect for everything from casual rallies to spirited matches.
- A thriving community garden, where fresh produce is grown and shared freely with residents each week.
- A playground and wide-open common areas, inviting games of tag, pickup soccer, or a family round of catch.
- A welcoming clubhouse, the heart of our neighborhood, where book clubs, art gatherings, and community celebrations fill the calendar.

At North Willow Farms, amenities aren’t just features—they’re invitations to connect, play, and enjoy life together.

And just beyond our backyards lies Daubenspeck Park, a rare 22-acre urban oasis. Born from a creative partnership between neighborhoods, the school board, and a local nonprofit, the park offers restored prairie, wetlands, forests, trails, and a winding creek. Open daily from dawn to dusk, it’s a haven for walkers, birdwatchers, kids, and four-legged friends alike.

North Willow Farms has always been about more than houses—it’s about creating a lifestyle centered on community, connection, and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
