A tip to Crime Stoppers leading to a felony arrest may result in a reward.
If you are the victim of a crime within NWF, report it immediately to the police and then Eagle/Trident.
You may also report it to a Board member and if there is something significant to alert residents to other than the incident itself, a neighborhood alert may be issued. Please allow a reasonable response time as Board members and Block Captains are volunteers!!

Eagle/Trident is the security company for North Willow Farms. They patrol the streets, issue tickets for speeding and other traffic violations, and respond to non-emergency calls from residents. Eagle/Trident will also perform vacation checks for a fee while residents are on vacation.

Home / CarNorth Willow is generally a very safe community! The most basic way to keep it that way is to talk to your neighbors. Keep their phone numbers handy and let them know when you will be out of town.
It is also important to take basic precautions.
Home
- If you have a security system, use it in the day as well as at night.
- Keep your doors locked. Install a storm door that you can lock when the main door is open.
- Make sure the garage door closes fully before driving off!
- Lock all first-story windows when you are not home or when you go to bed. Lock second-story windows when they are not open.
- Do not leave ladders outside as they can be used to access your second story.
- Do not put yourself and your property "on display": put up curtains or blinds. Close your curtains at night!
- Remove high, dense bushes from under windows as they can be used to screen activity.
- Use dusk-to-dawn (photocell) lights with or without motion-activation on your porch and driveway. Many choices can be found on the Internet. Even if the lights don't stop the thief, they will allow you and others to see what's going on around your house.
- Consider having a post lantern installed near the house and/or the street.
- Do not leave your garage door standing open unless you are working in the front yard. Make sure the door is closed at night! If you see someone else's garage door open after 9pm, be a good neighbor and call them (see Resident Directory. If you don't know the homeowner's name, click on By Address on left of page).
Car/Garage
- Park cars in the garage if possible. If you leave your car in the driveway, lock the doors and remove valuables from both the car and trunk. Don't leave the GARAGE DOOR OPENER in your car!
- Do not park your car on the street overnight!
- In cold weather, do not leave your car idling in the driveway. An idling car is an easy target!
Solicitors
Outside solicitors including those asking for donations are prohibited in North Willow. However, neighborhood children may sell items for their school, church or other organization. |
Neighborhood Watch| North Willow has an active neighborhood watch program, coordinated by a Block Captain on each court and section of street. |
